First time using TrentBot? Type /setup to get started after you add the bot!

This bot has two primary features:

1. GPT-4 chatbot functionality in any room with "gpt-4" in the room name
2. Automatic AI-powered moderation

GPT-4 Chatbot

The chatbot functionality is simple to use. You just create a room with "gpt-4" in the room name, and tag the bot at the start of your message to chat with it in that room.

The chatbot supports several plugins. It can view images, do math with Wolfram Alpha, browse the internet, even understand the content of YouTube videos, and even generate images with Stable Diffusion! It's intuitive to use - just send it a picture, a math problem, or a link. It'll show you what it's doing so you can confirm that it understood your problem correctly.

TrentBot is the only chatbot with these features on Discord! :)

Smart Moderator

For new users, the recommended course of action is to use /aipreset and choose one of our preset values, then fine-tune the filters to your needs. Currently there are presets for child-friendly servers, servers trying to get into the Discord Partner Program, and servers that allow edgy posting but want to keep it within a reasonable limit.

The automatic moderation functionality uses AI to filter out inappropriate content in situations that would normally be impossible to block with traditional word filters. People tend to avoid filters by doing things like putting spaces inside of words, spelling things with numbers instead of letters, etc. This bot can detect and block that.

The filters are configurable and based on an AI-driven scoring mechanism. The current categories that can be filtered are: harassment, harassment_threatening, hate, hate_threatening, self_harm, sexual, sexual_minors, violence, violence_graphic, toxicity, severe_toxicity, obscene, threat, insult, identity_attack

Configure the automoderation like so: Usage: /aimod <score_name> <alert_threshold> <removal_threshold> Example: /aimod toxicity 0.5 0.7

AI anti-spam

TrentBot has been trained on hundreds of thousands of real spam messages from thousands of Discord servers and has learned how to identify spam incredibly well. This means you can now block spammers from speaking, without blocking regular users from doing things like posting Discord invite links!

This system currently targets several distinct categories of spam, such as porn spam, investment scams, and more! The anti-spam system is updated on a near-daily basis to continue learning and adapting to the changing tactics of spammers.

Social credit system

TrentBot implements a social credit scoring system. The system is global; your score on one server is the same as your score on all other servers. The score goes up as you socialize with other users, and it goes down if you break the rules of a server.

Server owners can use this as a powerful quality control system by restricting server permissions based on user social credit scores. For example, you can stop users with low scores from posting links, as an anti-spam control that doesn't affect the majority of your members. If you want to socially enforce good behavior without timeouts/bans, you can restrict posting images/videos to users who have good scores.

The system being global means that it's good for well-behaved users, and bad for poorly-behaved users. Users who are new to your server aren't penalized just for being new, if they've been seen on another TrentBot server. This can significantly ease the process of onboarding new users, helping your server grow without making it harder to keep under control.

Moderators can control the social credit restrictions with /socialrestriction, and users can see their own scores and each others' scores with /socialcredit.

Automatic argument detection

As a tool to aid the moderation of larger servers, TrentBot can automatically detect arguments between groups of users and alert moderators, even if none of the messages individually break server rules. This can help you maintain a friendly and positive environment for all of the users of your server!

Automatic ticket answering

If you're a server admin and you get a lot of tickets asking for help with the same things, TrentBot can help! You can do /ticket_info and write some answers to common questions people have. Then, when a user uses /ticket to open a support ticket, TrentBot will automatically answer their question if relevant answers are available.

Translation

React to a post with a flag emoji, and it'll be translated into the appropriate language. Unlike other bots, TrentBot allows you to do this for free, with no limit! Great for servers with multilingual user bases.
