Amazing bot, you can make your server much larger in less than 2 days using this bot! and its very easy to use and setup, 100% recommend.

Ads barely get sent to any channels therefore it's pretty ineffective.

PromoBot Alpha Version

I noticed that most of the servers that add the bot to their servers dont setup the bot.
I decided to expand the bot and add 2 new categories: anime and gaming!
Feel free to setup and choose the most appropriate category. 
If you have already done the setup, use pr$category command to change this servers' category.
You can use pr$categories command to see currently supported categories.

PromoBot will soon be in 100 servers! 
First of all, thanks to everyone who added it to their server! 
Quick growth allowed me to submit PromoBot to get verified on Discord. If bot is in 100 servers before bot gets verified, you will not be able to add it to your own server. We are forced to wait until Discord verifies it, and after that no server limitation will be applied.

Thank you for 250 servers! These milestones are very much appreciated and keep me motivated to continue working on the bot!
New rules are enforced. When setting up promo channel, bot checks if everyone has View channel and Send messages permission.  Bot will also block from using pr$promo command if promo channel of this server doesn't have these permissions. This change was made due to some servers abusing the bot and making the promo channel private for everyone, so the promotion process wasn't quite far. Let's see how this change affects servers that use Promobot!

Thank you for using Promobot! To ensure quality promotion in the future, PromoBot now checks if invite of your server is not invalid or expired, and if this invite belongs to your server. To allow this feature to work, allow PromoBot 'Manage server' permission to have access to server's invites. PromoBot by any means WILL NOT change server name or icon, edit server region, or any other server property. If PromoBot fails to access invites (doesn't have the 'Manage server' permission), PromoBot will fail to promote your server. This change is made to ensure high-quality and high-efficiency promotion aswell as save your priceless time to both not check regularly if invite is valid and to not promote with invalid invite..

- (optional) promo_channel - channel where other server promotions will be sent
After running the <code>/setup</code> command, you will get a pop-up window to input your promo description (text for your advertisement)
When setup is completed, use <code>/promo</code> to promote your server
