PostHeaderIcon Jeep Gladiator Gravity Concept

.split806883

The Jeep Gladiator Gravity Concept is perhaps the smartest looking truck of the lot that was presented at the 2019 Easter Jeep Safari. We are not sure if it was the design team that worked on this concept or the marketing team, but knowing that Jeep uses this event to create, innovate, and display new Mopar products, we have to say that this truck will bring in maximum revenue for Jeep. The Gravity concept is basically a table, shaped like a truck, that showcases a plethora of Mopar performance products. This Jeep shows how you can elevate the abilities and capabilities of your Jeep by installing the products from Jeep’s performance brand. On the onset, the car looks absolutely fantastic in the orange shade while maintaining its rugged looks. Just like four other concept trucks, Jeep has based this one on the Gladiator, too. The automaker has made sure that the company’s new pickup truck receives maximum exposure from this event. But, we cannot fathom the fact that not a single concept is based on the Wrangler!

PostHeaderIcon Jeep Gladiator M-715 Five-Quarter

.split806883

This Jeep is only concept of the lot from this year’s Easter Jeep Safari that is not a 2020 Gladiator dressed in pretty clothes. Moniker’d the ’Five-Quarter,’ this concept truck is actually a resto-mod of the 1968 Kaiser Jeep M-715, Gladiator-based, military vehicle. This concept will surely draw a lot of attention from the die-hard fans and enthusiasts who have followed Jeep with loyalty. Let me stress on this again – this is a resto-mod operation, not a replica. This is the real deal. So, of the 30,000-odd vehicles that were built, and God knows how many have survived to this day, Jeep and Mopar have actually stripped apart a 50-year old truck and garnished it with loads with new parts!

Fun fact – Jeep actually picked this model up off of Craigslist before putting it through the wringer. If this doesn’t grab your attention, I don’t know what will.

PostHeaderIcon Jeep Gladiator J6 Concept

.split806882

The Easter Jeep Safari, held at Moab, Utah, is a Mecca for Jeep lovers. Jeep uses these 10-odd days to showcase its concepts that not only bring out the creative side of the designers but also serves as a perfect platform to further market the lineup of highly sought-after Mopar products. One of the six concepts, the J6, is the product that serves this purpose completely. It is filled with Mopar products in and out and will undoubtedly intrigue the interest of the Safari attendees.

The J6 Concept is out there to en’lighten’ the event in all its glory. Didn’t get the reference? Well, that’s because Jeep has added a lot of LED lighting shenanigans to this truck. What makes it all the more interesting is that it has a two-door cab with a six-foot-long bed. A lot of enthusiasts have been vocal about having this same combination for quite some time now. Jeep understands this and will use this Safari as a pedestal to see if it makes a viable business case for itself.

PostHeaderIcon Jeep Gladiator Flatbill Concept

.split807053

Jeep has crowded the 53rd Easter Jeep Safari with six of its concepts. Knowing how competitive the market has gotten in this age, Jeep decided to make use of this much-anticipated event by basing five of its six concepts on the new Gladiator, you know, for maximum exposure. Jeep has also paid tribute to the 1968 M-715 for the sake of nostalgia. Jeep has invested all of its time and finances allotted for this Safari on the Gladiator-based concepts, and here is one that revolves around the theme of motocross lifestyle – Dirt bikes and bro codes. Moniker’d the Flatbill concept, this truck has been designed while keeping the desert lifestyle in mind.

It certainly looks like Jeep had a lot of fun building this concept.
In fact, Jeep seems to have gone all ’bruh’ with the Flatbill concept. How often do you see an automaker relate so close to reality?
It’s not just about the vernacular here; Jeep has managed to induce the ’bro-ness’ into the Jeep with styling and design philosophy. The bright color combination and the loud styling cues make this one of the funkiest concepts of the 2019 Safari lot. Oh, and did we forget to tell you that the term ’Flatbill’ is derived from the popular style of baseball hats that the Jeep folks like to wear. No, we are not making this up, bro.

PostHeaderIcon The Hellcat Engine Will Fit in the 2020 Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler But Jeep Won’t Do It For One Good Reason

This week, Jeep revealed six amazing builds ahead of the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. In 2019, almost all of these creations are based on the new Jeep Gladiator pickup truck with the single exception being the one that caught everyone’s attention: the Jeep Five-Quarter, an overhauled M-715 Gladiator-looking single cab pickup that packs a Hellcat V-8. This got everyone wondering again: why isn’t Jeep putting out a Gladiator or a Wrangler with a proper V-8? Well, now we know that: a) they could and that b) they won’t.

Every year, off-roading aficionados gather in Moab, Utah for a 4×4 extravaganza peppered up with some one-off builds by Jeep in collaboration with Mopar. This year, the theme of the Easter Jeep Safari is straightforward: the Gladiator. While all six trucks are lovely, two really got people buzzing: the Jeep J6, a single cab, long bed prototype that got people wondering what are Jeep’s reasons for not making it a reality. Then there’s the Gladiator that channels the gargantuan M-715 Gladiator military transport vehicle. It’s basically retromodding done backward on this single cab truck with a soft top which can be considered the smaller sibling of the 2016 Jeep Crew Chief 715 that took part in the safari three years ago.

Both are inspired by the Kaiser M-715 U.S. military truck produced in the late ’60s but are based on the Gladiator. The difference is that this year’s single cab model (named Five-Quarters as a tribute to Jeep one-to and one-and-a-half-ton trucks of old that were also known as ’five-quarters’) sports a hefty 6.2-liter, supercharged Hellcat crate engine with over 700 horsepower on tap. Fans were enthralled by the looks but also by the prospect of a V-8 inside the Gladiator and Tim Kuniskis, Head of the Jeep Brand in North America answers the burning question.

PostHeaderIcon Jeep Gladiator Wayout Concept

.split806883

It’s back! The 53rd Annual Easter Week celebration for Jeep enthusiasts is here, and we are chuffed to bits, just like every year. This year, Jeep will bring in not one, not two, but six different concepts. Five of these concepts are based on the newGladiator, while one is essentially a tribute to the 1968 M-715 military version of the old-school civilian Gladiator. Jeep has worked with Mopar to create these concepts, and each one is a work of art in its own way. However, what caught our attention is that not a single one has the Wrangler badge this time! Easter Jeep Safari without Wrangler is like Thanksgiving dinner without Turkey! Guess Jeep is too excited commemorating the Gladiator pickup instead.
For the 2019 Safari, the most practical concept that could make it to production, and still dominate the market, is the Wayout concept. From Jeep’s point-of-view, this concept is a way to re-instill the spark in enthusiast’s mind that no matter which automaker comes up with fancy shenanigans, a Jeep will still be a Jeep. We are referring to the Ford Ranger, and it’s exhaustive list of camping gear. The Wayout is the ultimate overlanding vehicle that would make for the perfect #wanderlust pictures for your Instagram.

PostHeaderIcon Video Reviews: The 2019 Jeep Gladiator Tested and Rated

When Jeep revealed the Gladiator, the Wrangler-based pickup model it added to its range last year, many in the automotive scene were overjoyed. They raved about how good this new midsize truck is going to be, how long it’s been since Jeep had a pickup in its range, and the genuine need for such a vehicle that blends the Wrangler’s unmatched off-road capability with extra utility and carrying capacity.

PostHeaderIcon Jeep Gladiator By Katzkin Leather

After more than 30 years on the shelves, the almighty Jeep Gladiator returned to the auto scene at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Less than a few months later, we now have one of the first custom jobs for the Gladiator courtesy of a company known for making some of the best leather products for car interiors in the market. This, ladies and gentlemen, is Katzkin Leather’s interpretation of the Jeep Gladiator, and it’s an absolute doozy. Comprised mostly of upgrades to the truck’s interior, Katzkin Leather’s work on the Gladiator’s cabin is a visual showcase of the company’s new products. The upholstery package is one of the many options that Katzkin is offering through Mopar, complementing the menu of accessories and options that are already available for Jeep’s returning conqueror. Katzkin’s show of force on the Gladiator was on full display at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show.

The iconic Jeep Gladiator made a comeback after several decades and it’s already a popular topic among truck enthusiasts. A true work horse in base trim, the Gladiator can also be order with premium features and loads of accessories through Mopar. Now, you can also add Katzkin leather via a package that Jeep just showcased at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show.

PostHeaderIcon Jeep Gladiator

Essentially a Wrangler with a five-foot bed, the Gladiator rides on a custom body-on-frame that’s longer than the SUVs. The truck also shares drivetrain components with the Wrangler, including the Pentastar V-6 engine. A diesel mill, already available in the Ram 1500, will be offered in 2020. The Gladiator stands out among its competition thanks to its open-air configuration, unique on the market, and impressive payload and towing capabilities.

The Jeep Gladiator is a new pickup truck based on the latest-generation Wrangler. As the first Jeep-badged truck in almost three decades, the Gladiator made its public debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Originally believed to arrive with the Scrambler name, the pickup truck revives a nameplate first used in the 1960s.

PostHeaderIcon Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 Jeep Gladiator

What can we say? The new Jeep Gladiator is here, and we’re about as excited as a kid on Christmas. Maybe even a little more excited. Not only is the Gladiator the Jeep truck that we’ve been begging for but it stays true to the brand’s off-road roots with solid axles, a six-speed manual transmission, massive off-road tires, and some decent mustard under the hood – all the things purists expect and then some. But, besides all of that fun, off-road-inspired goodness, did we mention that it’s based largely on the 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL and that it looks downright sexy? Well, we probably did in on of the many stories we’ve put out on the new Gladiator, but we still can’t keep our eyes off it. That’s why we’ve decided to make it our wallpaper of the day. Well, there’s a ton of amazing wallpapers to choose from so take our favorite for what it is or check out our big gallery below for other options and download as many as you want!

PostHeaderIcon The 2020 Jeep Gladiator’s Little Easter Egg is A Nod To its Production Roots

Thirteen years after introducing the Gladiator concept, Jeep finally came through on its word to launch a production model. The all-new, Wrangler-based Gladiator is a big deal, not just for Jeep, but for the entire pickup segment. We’ve already talked about the Gladiator numerous times in the last few days, but we’re back with another interesting nugget about the pickup. It’s an easter egg included inside the pickup that pays homage to its production roots.

PostHeaderIcon The 2020 Jeep Gladiator Parades New Upgrades from Mopar in L.A.

The long-anticipated Jeep Gladiator, the company’s first pickup truck in 26 years, made its global debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Not surprisingly, Mopar has already created a range of parts and accessories for the truck and showcased them on a Rubicon model. The most important of which include a two-inch lift kit, spray-in bed liner, and a truck bed storage system.

Mopar has been providing parts and accessories for Chrysler and Fiat cars for decades now, and it also helped Jeep develop quite a few concept vehicles. Naturally, the Gladiator had to be included now that Jeep finally offers a pickup truck. Mopar presented 20 products for the Gladiator in Los Angeles, but more are definitely underway. Let’s have a look at what you can order once the Gladiator goes on sale.

PostHeaderIcon The Jeep Gladiator Stays True to its Roots with a Standard Six-Speed Manual Transmission

A tough pickup truck that we have been dreaming about for ages is finally here. The news of a pickup truck from Jeep’s stable is not new; and by not new, I mean, it’s been doing rounds for almost a decade. Finally, the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator has arrived. The wait has been worth it because it is as tough as it can get, and it comes with manual transmission as it should! Put your tongues back in, purists.

PostHeaderIcon Here’s Everything We Know About the Jeep Gladiator

After photographs of the new 2020 Jeep Gladiator leaked into the ocean that is the Internet, every single publication started to scrutinize every single piece of information available. Before I get into details of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, I have to tell you something else. For the past few weeks, the three most important car news that appeared aren’t about cars. One is the leak of the baby Bronco, the other is the Aston Martin DBX, and the third is, well, this one – the Jeep Gladiator. See, we live in a world with fantastic roads that stretch everywhere. So, you can basically drive your sedan, sports car, or wagon (if you really must) everywhere, but you are still choosing SUVs, trucks, and other utility vehicles. The timing for this Jeep pickup truck is probably just on point. The Colorado spruced the segment; the Ranger drizzled it with sparkles, and the Frontier, well, it was there all along. Jeep will join this amazing lineup with its one-ton, mid-size Jeep Gladiator – a new truck that will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

PostHeaderIcon The Long, Illustrious History of Jeep Pickup Trucks

It has recently been confirmed that Jeep will unveil a pickup truck version of the JL Wrangler at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Called the Gladiator, according to leaked documents, it will be Jeep’s first pickup truck since 1992. And, needless to say, fans have been clamoring for a Jeep with a bed ever since the Cherokee-based Comanche was discontinued.

The Gladiator name will also make a comeback after no fewer than 47 years, but Jeep built more than two pickups throughout its history. It actually made six of them, and even though they were built under different ownership and names, they’re all iconic in their own right. With Jeep’s first truck in more than two decades underway, we decided it’s the perfect time to look through the company’s history as a pickup manufacturer.
