Lamborghini Huracan Darth Vader-0

So yesterday we showed you a Lamborghini Gallardo with a Blue Chrome wrap, and now – just to balance things out – here’s a Huracan wrapped a unique design the like of which has never been seen before. Lamborghini Huracan Darth Vader wrap is done by Metro Wrapz of Florida.

And why not? Star Wars fever is not something that goes away a month or two after the premiere of the movie. It’s part of the American culture now, so Star Wars-themed stuff are always relevant. And that’s why this Lamborghini Huracan Darth Vader is kind of cool (We’re not Star Wars fans, mind you, so we’re hoping Darth Vader is part of that thing and not from Star Trek or something else).

While the wrap has done a good job of altering the looks of this Huracan, the rest of the car appears to be standard. Well, apart from that cool rear spoiler which would be a nice addition to any Huracan. In its standard guise, the Italian baby super car comes with a 610 horsepower V10 engine mated to a dual-clutch transmission and permanent all-wheel-drive system. It is as sweet to drive as it is to look at.

Talk about a unique take on the Escalade. This big, red, bulbous thing you see here is the result of a joint project between Forgiato wheels and Metro Wraps, based on an order from MrWheels shop. Even Forgiato themselves admit the matte orange Cadillac Escalade has too much “Florida flair” about it.

Then again, you wrap your huge SUV in such a brash color and then bolt on a set of 26-inch wheels, it is fair to assume you want to stand out. In that aspect, MrWheels’s giant matte orange Cadillac Escalade is a job well-done. Mind you, you can’t really drive this car outside Florida, as people will think many bad things about you. In Florida though, this probably looks understated next to all the gold cars driving around.

The boys at Metro Wrapz have done a pretty good job with the matte orange Cadillac Escalade. They always pay a lot of attention to details. So although you may not notice it, they have gone to the trouble of removing all the trims, accents and badges even to a perfect finish, and even took care to make room for the parking sensors. Their counterparts at Forgiato have also played their parts, coming up with a set of 26-inch Girare-ECL rims in matching colors.

Gloss Yellow Lexus IS-0

You may remember a few days ago we brought to you pictures of a LFA Yellow Lexus IS equipped with Vossen wheels. Now someone else has decided he wants his IS finished in yellow as well, and he sent it to Metro Wrapz for the treatment. Turns out yellow is a popular color for the Japanese sedan.

The thing about a yellow Lexus IS is that this color brings out all the crazy in the car’s design, and there is a lot of it. the gloss yellow wrap Metro Wrapz has come up with for this car makes the weird headlights and front grille to pop and look even more strange than before – strange and utterly unique, which is the whole point of this design.

Gloss Yellow Lexus IS-00

Metro’z yellow Lexus IS is a bit more interesting than the one we shoed you before in the sense that it is practically a two-tone finish. The gloss yellow of the body is complemented and contrasted by matte black roof, mirror caps, door handles, rear spoiler, and aero parts, not to mention the wheels, although those are gloss black rather than matte. They have also blacked-out the lights for good measure. The combination of yellow and black makes this IS such an eye candy. Our favorite part of it is the rear diffuser with its unique cutouts into the bumper and dual exhaust pipe. This thing makes your average Benz or Bimmer look so boring!

PostHeaderIcon Cadillac Escalade Rust Chrome by Metro Wrapz

Cadillac Escalade Rust Chrome-0

One of the coolest vehicles on display at this year’s Forgiato Fest was without a doubt Metro Wrapz’s Cadillac Escalade Rust Chrome. This is hands down the most unique wrap we’ve seen on this vehicle and one that can almost be called artistic.

The Rat Rod look is a fairly new trend in the world of car customization and its point it to make perfectly fine cars, often vintage exotics, look like they’ve been through a sand storm or a nuclear winter, or some crazy sh*t like that.

The thing is though, this treatment looks best on iconic classics or fancy sports car, precisely because they are the farthest thing from a nasty, radioactive piece of junk. An Escalade does not really look the part for a rat rod project. Still, the guys at Metro Wrapz have done a good job with the design of the wrap. The car does indeed looks like it has spent the whole of last month in the bottom of a river.

MW’s Cadillac Escalade Rust Chrome rides on a set of light blue Forgiato wheels and has its standard chrome grille and accents. It would nice if they’d given the rust treatment to those parts as well. But hey, there is always Stage 2!

Contrary to early speculations, it turns out that the futuristic looks of the BMW i8 respond well to getting wrapped in unusual colors. A while back we showed you a very interesting green i8. Now check out this more discreet but equally good-looking matte white BMW i8 wrapped by Metro Wrapz.

Wrapped in time to celebrate the Fourth of July with a special photoshoot with an artistic American flag as the backdrop, Metro Wrapz’s matte white BMW i8 BMW i8 is actually more sophisticated than it first seems. The wrap consists of matte white and white carbon fiber elements.

They have left the signature blue accents of the i8 intact, using the contrast they make with the white body to the advantage of a sporty look. The treatment does suit BMW i8 rather well. It is also one of the few colors we’ve seen that makes those unique wheels look less weird.

Powered by a three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that is boosted by a couple of electric motors, BMW i8 is the world’s first proper hybrid sports car. The ultimate driving machine of the future delivers 360 horsepower and around 90 mpg. Well, theoretically 90 mpg. In the real world you’d be lucky to get 40.

PostHeaderIcon Jaguar XFR-S Looks Real Sharp in Matte Grey

Jaguar XFR-S Matte Grey-0

The official color – and by that we mean the one used the most by the company in the official press material – for the high-performance British sedan Jaguar XFR-S is a lovely sky blue. But some people may find that color a bit too soft and unassuming for a car with 550 horsepower and a nasty, nasty growl.

That where Metro Wrapz comes in, presenting this new wrap for the Jaguar XFR-S in a super cool matte grey. Now this is a color that will make people take notice of the car’s inner power. It gives the big cat more pizzazz and boosts its sex appeal, which is interesting, because matte grey in itself is a very cold color.

Be that as it may, that color is certainly the right choice for a car like the Jaguar XFR-S which all sort of sporty features such as large air intakes, a massive front splitter, huge rear wing, and a full on rear diffuser, not to mention four tailpipes. That grey wrap is complemented with gloss black grilles and accents which make the whole thing look even more special.

Engine-wise, the XFR-S is powered by a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 unit which with the help of an 8-speed transmission provides a 0-60mph time of 4.4 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds) and an electronically-limited top speed of 186mph (300km/h).

PostHeaderIcon Ferrari 458 Embossed Wrap by MetroWrapz and ProWrap

Ferrari 458 Embossed Wrap-0

This unique Ferrari 458 Italia is the very embodiment of a joint effort. To makes this one of a kind car which features an embossed wrap, Miami’s MetroWrapz teamed up with Apa America, PAINT is DEAD and Knifeless Tech Systems. And the end result speaks for itself.

This is, to our knowledge at least, the first supercar to get a proper embossed design wrap; a unique and apparently difficult to make effect that delivers an awesome tridimensional look and amazing lighting effects. This is, without any exaggeration, a work of art. You may not like the design they have used on this Ferrari, but you can’t deny the impressiveness of the concept.

Apart from the unique embossed wrap, this Ferrari 458 Italia also benefits from a range of interesting colors in its design, including Red Matt Chrome, Blue Matt Chrome, Blue Gloss, Candy Red, Nero Lucido. It is as if the Ferrari is a canvas, the wrappers artists, and those films their palette. This car is without a question or shadow of doubt one of the greatest and most artistic wrapped car ever.
